Within the jungle even frightening beasts hold a respect for the law. The law of the jungle. They maintain a beautiful existence. Standing within you can hear a peaceful hum that tells you that there is life in abundance! This is the wilds. This is what we label a jungle.

It has its similarities yet differences from the world in which we live. The jungle looks chaotic, yet has its own order. It seems harsh until you kneel to see the small ants working together. They are helping each other in every endeavor. Compare that to us who live in the selfish cruelty of our concrete jungle.

The animals appreciate what time and nature give. Even those that live by tooth and claw refrain from using without reason. As we traverse another year around the sun, our ethics and rules seem to be slowly left behind and vanish from society. Seeing the jungle, we have emulated that which is dark and neglected its soul.

Friends of Ye-son have peered through this darkness and painted the wonders thereafter seen; projects filled with pure humor, laughter and excitement. Sometimes awkward, yet fresh. Seemingly rough, yet meaningfully beautiful. Seeking always to capture that which we hope never to lose.

A stem, flowerless and alone. A woman, drawn and yet to be drawn. Both can still have beauty despite lacking a cliché beauty. They show the beauty within the imperfect giving us pause to, perhaps, challenge our definitions of perfect. We may find cheap pleasure in a flower, yet deeper joy comes from helping each other and discovering the God-dreamt beauty instilled in each of us.

We, Ye-son friends, hope to give you a glimpse into that beauty.
Into the beauty found within the soul of the jungle.
