BIOGRAPHY
I am a photographer based in Seoul, South Korea.
My work explores emotional traces left within relationships from fleeting encounters with strangers to long-standing connections with those close to me.
Through photography and writing, I observe how relationships form in unplanned moments and quietly follow what remains.
I received my BFA and MFA in Fine Art from RMIT University in Melbourne, and completed a graduate program in Art Therapy at CHA University in Korea.
Since 2016, I have supported the creative work of artists with developmental disabilities, which has deeply shaped
how I perceive connection.
I Didn’t Plan This and If You Remember Me reflect on time, memory, and intimacy in human relationships.
Trivial Pursuit is a street photography project that focuses on everyday elements we often overlook.
Each image is paired with a short text, capturing background details like entries in a visual mini-encyclopedia.
This project received an Honorable Mention at the 2023 Busan International Photo Portfolio Review.
Since 2011, my portrait works have been recognized by the PX3, IPA, and Lucie Foundation in the Portraiture – Personality category.
Recent work was shown in a group exhibition in Tokyo and featured in Monthly Photography Magazine (Dec 2023 & Feb 2025).
In 2018,I co-organized a collaborative exhibition with a New York-based painter and artists with developmental disabilities, which was presented at Hot Wheels Projects in Athens.
